There he is...ring bearer extraordinaire! Joel was in cousin Amanda & Joe's wedding this weekend, and he loved it. The wedding was beautiful, and while we dearly missed Curt's Aunt Amy, we were thankful to celebrate such a milestone in Amanda & Joe's lives. Amanda looked beautiful, and Joe was a total chick magnet!! :)At the wedding...once Joel made it through the pictures (which did NOT go so well), it was time for the walk down the aisle. When he started, he decided to lay his ring pillow in the middle of the aisle and go say hi to Grandma & Grandpa DeBoer. However, once he was redirected, he continued to do a half trot, half walk down the remainder of the aisle (where dad was waiting with a bag of M&Ms)!!! He did great.
The highlight of the night was definitely watching his dance moves at the reception. He was out on the floor as soon as the music came on and he didn't stop until he fell asleep (at 11 o'clock!!). He was hysterical. He loved all the attention. I hope we can get a video of him on the dance floor! Even the DJ came up to Curt on our way out and gave props to our little man's sweet moves!!!
When Grace saw her big brother dancing on the dance floor...she couldn't believe her eyes!!!
Here is Joel with his buddy, Uncle Chris. He loved playing with cousin Alyssa...he followed her around all night long. She was a great helper with watching Joel!
