Some news...

In case that was a little difficult to translate...Joel is having a baby "sissy" and he is VERY excited! We had our ultrasound earlier this month and we are so excited (and a little surprised) to be having a girl. We are already talking to Joel about the baby (he thinks the baby is growing in HIS tummy, too!!). We are working on "gentle", but she might have to be a toughie around big brother until he gets it down!

Mom & Joel hit the pumpkin farm this week. It was a great time! We had donuts and cider...we got some fresh apples to make apple pie...we saw horses. Joel's highlight was, of course, seeing the tractors at the farm. We even went on a hayride which he found thrilling. We can't believe how big he is getting!

Along with the fun and exciting events of the past two months...we have also had some very difficult times as well. Curt's Aunt Amy passed away on September 24. After Curt's mom passed away, Amy was like a second grandma to Joel. We love her and her family so much. Even in the short time that she has been gone, we miss her dearly. If the Lord brings them to mind, please be praying for Curt's Uncle Andy and cousins Amanda & Alison, as they go through the months ahead missing their wife and mom.
