Joel and mom went to the annual Party in the Park in downtown Kalamazoo. Joel got to meet up with his friends Connor, Kaeden, Kaitlin, Madison, Peyton, Ella and Eli for a juicebox, some animal crackers, a free book and lots of reading. 
Joel saw Curious George, Chicken Little, and Dr. Seuss to name a few. It was a great time.
Of course...all that reading can tire a guy out. He didn't even make it home without falling asleep! He must still be catching up from our weekend up north over Memorial Day weekend. We drove up with five couples and four kids...Joel was the oldest! It was lots of fun. We weren't brave enough to try tent camping with all the kids, but we had a great time staying together in a small cottage. Joel was an all-star with all of the driving we did. He's still a little gun shy about getting into the car. He's not sure if we're just running to the store or if he's in store for another 5 hour trip!
We are so excited to meet Joel's new cousin! So many new babies have been arriving. Mark & Jamie Klimp had a little girl, Taylor Elise...Amy's cousin Katie and her huband Alan had a little boy, John Michael...and our friends Rob & Kristy Link welcomed their little girl Elyse Abbigail. So many little blessings! We'll be sure to report when baby Stickl arrives. Col & Johnny are going to have a blog of their own where they can post pictures and updates!
