Blueberry Picking and more...

Well...the countdown is on for Baby D3. I can't believe how close we are getting! I'm getting bigger and hotter and more tired but also more excited to meet this new little guy/gal. The kids have loved the summer activities. Here's a quick recap on some of our adventures of late...

We've been strawberry and cherry picking, and today we went blueberry picking. It was mostly fun. Although, the kids got bored pretty quickly. Joel picked some berries, but he had more fun looking for sticks to poke the berries with. Grace literally ate about 100 blueberries. I kept telling her to stop, but she would keep saying, "But moooooooooom, I'm HUMBRY!!!" Here are some pics of our morning at the blueberry farm and then back at the house making jam. We also had a lot of fun visiting family and friends in Chicago for my cousin's wedding. Congrats, Missy & Allan!! It was a beautiful day, a beautiful wedding and a beautiful bride! The kids had a great time, and so did we. Here's a couple shots before we headed out (I'm still working on the whole "natural" smile with Grace. We'll get it sooner or later!)...

Grace loves her dad! Here they are taking a spin on the lawn tractor. In total Grace-style, she's doing yard work in her pink crocs, flower in hair, princess PJs and some hot shades! One of her biggest requests of late? "Paint polish!" which is her way of asking me to get out the nail polish and lotion and give her a pedicure. Oh, the life!
We also got to celebrate Father's Day with Curt's fam. Everyone headed to Bill & Lita's for an afternoon of food and fun. Here are the kids playing in the pool. They loved it!

Well...that's the latest from Team DeBoer! We hope you are all enjoying your summer! We are excited to update you with news of baby three!!
